Calendar of Events

• Sept. 28, 2005: The Global Services Coalition is organizing a one-day series of meetings at the WTO in Geneva on Wednesday, September 28, to continue its press for progress in the Doha Round services negotiations. The group will meet with senior WTO officials and Ambassadors to the WTO from key developed and developing countries, and will hold a press conference.  For more information, contact John Goyer at goyer@uscsi.org.
  
• Sept. 18-22, 2006: The theme of the Pan American Federation of Engineering Societies' (UPADI) 2006 conference is "Building a Sustainable Infrastructure: Education, Technology Innovation, and Economic Development." The conference will provide a unique opportunity to share knowledge and to strengthen communications and relationships with engineers, corporations and government entities within the Americas. Topics covered during its plenary sessions will include free trade, global ethics, economic development, education, and sustainability.
